Road Drafter exposes active work-zone information through OGC-style Web Feature Service (WFS) and Web Map Service (WMS) endpoints. GIS teams can use familiar clients such as QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online to discover and visualize the data.

A plan is more useful when its route, closure, timing, and status can be understood alongside the rest of a transportation program. Existing GIS endpoints make that operational context accessible without requiring a new mapping application.

The Work Zone Data Exchange (WZDX) specification provides a shared vocabulary for work-zone information. Road Drafter is exploring partnership and data-exchange opportunities around that direction; WZDX publishing, importing, and conformance are not currently shipped product functionality.
